Question:

All of your electric brakes should have two wires coming out of them - one is ground and the other is power. It sounds like you may be in need of new brake assemblies, which are going to fit depending on the brake mounting flange you have and the size of your drum.
The Electric Trailer Brake Kit # AKEBRK-35-SA fits 3,500 lb axles with drums that are 10" diameter x 2-1/4" wide and have a 4-bolt mounting flange.
The Electric Trailer Brake Kit # AKEBRK-7-SA, on the other hand, is for 5,200 lb to 7,000 lb axles, drums that are 12" diameter x 2" wide and a 5-bolt mounting flange.
I have added links to reviews and installation videos, as well as a link to a help article on parts required for adding electric drum brakes which I strongly recommend checking out.
