Are Tire & Wheel Combos Balanced at Factory
Question:
Are these or any tire/wheel combos balanced from the factory or do they have to be balanced once received? Thanks

Expert Reply:
The wheel and tire combos we sell are not balanced at the factory. When the tire is mounted to the wheel, the high (heavy) spot on the wheel is matched to the low (light) spot on the tire, which leaves the wheel and tire somewhat balanced.
You may have the wheel/tire professionally balanced if you wish, but having perfectly balanced tires is not as important with trailer tires as it is with a passenger vehicle.
I have linked you to our Tire and Wheel FAQ article.
