Will The Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Fit The 2020 Audi Q5 Without Affecting Liftgate Sensor
Question:
I have a 2020 Audi Q5 and would like to add a hitch but I am concerned my lift gate sensor will no longer operate. Is this something I should be worried about? I am using it for a bike rack.

Good news Ann! When you install a trailer hitch on the 2020 Audi Q5 the middle sensor of the lift gate feature may be blocked by the hitch. However, you will be able to kick either side of the hitch to activate the other sensors.
I recommend to use the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 76183 on the 2020 Audi Q5 which is a concealed cross tube hitch so the only part of the hitch that is visible once installed is the receiver for a nice clean looking install. I have attached a photo for your reference.
