If you have a 2-inch trailer hitch on your 2012 Toyota Tacoma the New England Patriots Helmet NFL Trailer Hitch Cover, part # HHCC2018, will fit your vehicle.

The # HHCC2018 hitch cover, will fit on any 2-inch trailer hitch. The hitch cover will slide into the receiver hitch and the hitch pin is inserted through the holes in the hitch cover to hold it in place.

If you are wanting to lock the hitch cover to your hitch you can use Deadbolt Hitch Receiver Lock, part # 7683.

I am including a link to a FAQ page that will show the trailer hitch sizes. It will show you where to measure on your hitch to determine what size hitch you have.

If you have a 1-1/4 inch hitch size on your vehicle you would need to use the New England Patriots Logo Trailer Hitch Cover, part # FTHB120S.
