If you have a 2-bike Thule Apex bike rack part # TH9024XT it actually can fit 1-1/4 inch hitches as well as 2 inch hitches. For your 2008 Toyota Camry there are only 1-1/4 inch hitch options like the Draw Tite # 36416 since it's a smaller vehicle. The 2 inch hitches are only available on larger vehicles that have higher towing capacities like SUVs and trucks.
Hopefully you have the # TH9024XT and you can just remove the 2 inch adapter and be ready to go. If you have a different bike rack you'll be best served to return it and go with the # TH9024XT.
