Do I Use The Brake Light Relay Or Stoplight Switch In 2019 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited

I am installing a Roadmaster Even Brake in my 2019 Jeep JLU. I have been told that I need the brake light kit as the power to the brake light is off with the ignition turned off. I was also told that I need a brake relay switch to prevent feedback to the rv from the jeep when connected. If my brake lights work when the ignition is off, which they do, why do I need the brake light switch? In my 2017 I connected the brake relay to the even brake transmitter an all was well. Do I need both or can I set it up like the 2017 with the brake relay connected to the transmitter? I have all the parts ordered from you on hand.

The 2019 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited does require the stop light switch kit part # RM-751490 to install the Roadmaster Even Brake Portable Supplemental Braking System - Proportional part # RM-9400 because the factory stop light switch in the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited times out while being flat towed.
You will not need the brake light relay that comes with the supplemental braking system because the brake light switch kit will now keep the Jeep's brake signal from overriding the turn signal of the RV. Please keep in mind you will also need the 12 Volt Outlet Kit # RM-9332 to install the Even Brake if you don't already have one.
