Using C56407 Trailer Wiring w/ TR118821 Taillight Diode System While Flat Towing 2019 Jeep Wrangler
Question:
My 2020 wrangler unlimited already has the curt 56407 wiring for its trailer hitch installed. What do I need to do to add the 118821 wiring to this setup to allow for the towing of my jeep by my motorhome and not impact the existing trailer lighting setup? I have already purchased all parts needed for my jeep and motorhome from etrailer. Thanks

In order to install the # TR118821, you will need to do a little splicing but the easiest and safest way to do that would be to tap into the wires on the Curt # C56407, the procedure for this is shown in the instructions for the # TR118821, which I've linked for you. Installing in this manner will not harm the trailer wiring harness in any way.
