Best Easy to Use Slider 5th Wheel Hitch Recommendation for 2017 Ford F-350 with OEM Rail Kit
Question:
Hello, I am looking for an adjustable fifth wheel hitch with quick connect. I have the 6 3/4 box. Looking for recommendations. Our current hitch will not let us clear the cab of the truck with the trailer. Thanks,

Sounds like you are looking for the easiest to use and install slider fifth wheel hitch for your 2017 Ford F-350 short bed that has the OEM fifth wheel prep package. The easiest overall is the B and W Slider Companion part # BWRVK3370 which fits directly to the pucks in the bed of your truck and is overall the easiest to install and use.
Unlike other hitches this hitch breaks down into smaller and more manageable pieces very easily to make installing and removing easier and has a jaw and slider mechanism design that work flawlessly with minimal effort. A lot of slider hitches bind up easily and are less than easy to work with. The jaw design of this hitch also holds the trailer king pin tighter than other hitches which means a smoother and quieter ride quality as well. Also worth mentioning is that the slider mechanism of this hitch is what allows the trailer/cab turning clearance you are needing that you aren't getting with your old hitch! I attached a review video of this hitch on a similar Ford truck as yours for you to check out as well.
