Is Threadlocker Required To Install The etrailer.com Trailer Hitch Receiver on Toyota Sienna
Question:
Hello, do I need to use thread lock blue to make the thread more secure? I am just afraid the screw can get loose over time due to vibration of the vehicle. Thank you.

When installing the etrailer.com Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Matte Black Finish part # e98853 for the 2011 - 2020 Toyota Sienna thread lock is not necessary. As long as you torque down the bolts that are provided to the recommended foot lbs listed in the installation instructions and check them every couple of months they will be fine. However, using a Loctite Blue Stick Threadlocker - Medium Strength part # LT37643 is not a bad idea. I still recommend to check the bolts every now and then.
