Best Fifth Wheel Hitch to Fit Ford Factory Rail Kit on 2019 Ford F-250 Short Bed

I am considering towing a 5th wheel trailer with my new 2019 Ford F-250 but it's a short bed and not sure which is best. What do you suggest?

The best fifth wheel hitch for a 2019 Ford F-250 Short Bed with the factory rail kit is the Demco Hijacker Autoslide 5th Wheel Hitch part # DM8550038. The reason the Demco Hijacker is best is because of the auto-slide mechanism which moves the pivot point back away from the vehicle automatically while making turns. This is important because when making tight turns with a fifth wheel trailer and short bed truck you will likely have contact between the cab of the vehicle and loft of the trailer if precautions are not made. The most common precaution is to use a manual sliding fifth wheel hitch but this requires you to get in and out of the cab multiple times every time you need to make a sharp turn. The hassle of getting in and out of the cab multiple times to make a tight turn is eliminated with the Demco Hijacker due to the auto-slide mechanism.
Furthermore, the Demco Hijacker has a very secure locking jaw system that forms a tight grip on the king pin therefore working to provide a smooth ride and the integrated mounts allow you to drop it right into the rail system on the truck without needing any sort of additional adapters.
