The APS1, APS2, and APS3 are all suspension kits for single-axle trailers with 1-3/4-inch double-eye springs. They are designed for use on trailers with single, 2,000-lb to 7,000-lb axles.

The difference in the kits are in the rear hangers and the shackle straps.

The Redline Single-Axle Trailer Hanger Kit, part # APS1, uses the Redline Rear Hanger, part # 30-20, which uses a steel bushing and is .91 inches tall. The shackle straps are the Shackle Strap, part # TRSL313, which are 3-1/8 inches long.

The Redline Single-Axle Trailer Hanger Kit, part # APS2, uses the Redline Rear Hanger, part # 93003-3X, which is a rear hanger with no bushing and is 1-1/2 inches tall. It uses the Shackle Strap, part # 115052, which is 2-5/8 inches long.

The Redline Single-Axle Trailer Hanger Kit, part # APS3, uses the Redline Rear Hanger, part # 93003-3X, which is a rear hanger with no bushing and is 1-1/2 inches tall, but it uses the Shackle Strap, part # TRSL313, which are 3-1/8 inches long.

I would recommend when ordering a single-axle trailer kit to measure the height of the front and rear hangers and the length of your shackle straps to determine which kit you will need. If you are replacing the leaf springs you will also want to measure the length of your springs.

I am including a link to a FAQ page on trailer suspensions.
