Is There a Different Sized Plug Version of the Hopkins HM47025?
Question:
My trailer currently has Wesbar 787207 which is a 1 9/16inch diameter plug. Does Wesbar make one wired like 787207 with a 1 5/8inch plug? That is what I think I need for a 2012 Ford F150 tow vehicle.

The simple answer to this is going to be no, because trailer connections adhere to an industry standard in order to ensure compatibility between different manufacturers and for end user convenience. Trailer connector adapters like the current # HM47025 will be the same size as something like the Hopkins # HM47065 -they are all going to have the same dimensions assuming they're the same type of connections (7 flat, 4 or 5 blade, etc.). For these reasons, the 7 way end on the any adapter like the Hopkins # HM47025 will fit in the 7 way connector on your 2012 Ford F-150 without issue, as will the 5 way flat connector work with your 4 or 5 way standard connector on your trailer.
