Could Yakima Holdup EVO Bike Rack Fold Up and Clear Rear Spare of 2016 Jeep Patriot

Wondering if the Yakima Hold Up Evo will work with my 2016 Jeep Patriot folded up? The distance from the hitch pin hole to the furthest point of my bumper is around 6inch. Yakimas website says the maximum distance from the hitch pin hole to the furthest point of the bumper is 5inch. However, I read on this page that If that distance is less than 8 inches this rack will easily fit folded up. Is the maximum distance 5inch or 8inch? Thanks friends!

When we installed and reviewed the Yakima Holdup Evo part # Y02479 we found that there was 8 inches from the pin hole to the nearest portion of the rack when folded up so this would work for you to clear the spare of your 2016 Jeep Patriot.
