Troubleshooting Leak In Firestone Air Springs On Both Sides of Vehicle
Question:
My air bags leak. I can pump up to desired pressure, and in a few day all the air has bleed out. I have an onboard compressor and can pump them up easy enough. It just seems odd that both sides would leak at the same time. Ideas?

There's definitely a leak somewhere on your Firestone Air Spring System if the bags are bleeding out after only a few days. It's not too uncommon that the springs on both sides lose air as a result of this.
The simplest way to try and locate where the leak is taking place is to apply a solution of soap and water to the fittings, air lines, and air bags while the system is fully inflated. If there's a leak you will see little air bubbles appear at the source within a couple seconds.
If the bubbles are coming from the air lines then the one(s) in question will need to be replaced with # F9416. If you see that bubbles are coming from where the hose fitting and air line meet, the line may just need to be re-cut. Make sure they are cut perfectly square using a special tool like part # AL10530.
If you're still having trouble locating or resolving the leak, please let me know and I can look into this further.
