When it comes to flat towing your 2020 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk, you're going to need components from the following categories: base plates, tow bar, safety cables, lights, supplemental braking and more than likely a rise/drop adapter (you'll need to take some measurements to confirm). I've compiled a quick list below of what I recommend for you to flat tow your Jeep Cherokee so that you can easily find the parts:

Base Plates: Blue Ox with Removable Arms # BX1143 (Product fits models with 2-Speed Transfer Case and will fit models with Active Air Shutters)

Tow Bar: Blue Ox Avail # BX7420 - this non-binding tow bar with telescoping arms is easy to use and hookup, plus it comes with safety cables, so that helps eliminate an additional required item. This tow bar will allow you to connect on un-even surfaces and even if you're not completely lined up to provide you with an easy to use tow bar solution.

Lights: # RM-2120 connect to your RV's 7-way connection with an adapter and provide you with brake and turn signals in an easy to install lighting solution. Check out the attached video to see the install process.

Supplemental braking: Blue Ox Patriot # BLU37TR provides you with a braking system that will work with a number of different RV braking systems (Air-Over Hydraulic, Air, Hydraulic, Power Assist); the Patriot III ensures that the brakes in your towed car are activated at the same time and with the same intensity that you apply to them in your RV.

In order to choose a rise/drop adapter, I've linked a helpful article that explains how to measure your flat towing setup in order to determine which length adapter you'll need, if any; I've also linked all of our rise/drop adapters that commonly are needed for the Jeep Cherokee
