How To Use the Convert-A-Ball Multi-Cushioned Gooseneck Coupler With Ram Factory Gooseneck Hitch

Question:

Hello, I have a pop in ball in my Ram 3500. Do you offer a ball that would be compatible with this hitch and my ram 3500 factory gooseneck ball setup? Like a ball that locks without a lever into the factory ball mount?

Yes, I do have options for a Ram 3500 to use with the Convert-A-Ball Multi-Cushioned Gooseneck Trailer Coupler part # CG. The Curt Pop-In Ball for Factory Ford and Ram Underbed Gooseneck Hitches part # C60601 will work just fine. The issue with the Convert-A-Ball Multi-Cushioned Gooseneck Trailer Coupler is not the placement of the lever but rather the construction. The factory pop-in and some aftermarket pop-in gooseneck hitch balls like the Reese Elite Series and Factory Ford and Dodge Gooseneck Hitches part # RP19311 used a plastic lever which wore down and created issues for certain gooseneck couplers like the above. However, most aftermarket pop-in gooseneck hitch balls now come with metal levers so this is no longer an issue for these.
