If your 2009 Toyota Camry has an automatic transmission, then it will require a tow dolly like the Roadmaster Tow Dolly, # RM-2050-1, that you referenced on our website. One advantage to using this tow dolly is that it already comes with brakes and lights which will minimize the amount of additional items you will need.
In order to operate the electric brakes on this tow dolly, you will need to have a 6-Way round trailer connector on the motor home, and an electric brake controller. I recommend the Tekonsha P2, # 90885, because it is easy to set up and easy to use. I have included a link to the installation details for you to view.
If your motor home does not have a 6-way round trailer, then I would recommend installing the # ETBC6. I have linked the installation instructions for you to check out. Some states also require break away kits on trailers. You will want to check your local DOT regulations. If you do need a break away kit, then I would recommend using the Tekonsha Breakaway Kit, # 50-85-313.
If your vehicle is a manual transmission, then you can flat tow your vehicle or use the tow dolly. Flat towing your vehicle will involve the installation of additional parts. I have listed the additional parts that you will need to flat tow your vehicle below.
Base Plates # 1189-1
Tow Bar # RM-520 (See link for instructions)
Braking System # RM-8700
Safety Cables # RM-643
Wiring Kit # 154-792-118158 (See link for instructions)
Be sure you check your owners manual for towing procedures and limitations.
