The Curt # C11424 would be a perfect fit for your 2018 Hyundai Elantra if it were not the Sport model. Unfortunately, our hitch manufacturers don't have anything compatible with the Elantra sport at this time (3/2023).

We do offer trunk mounted bike racks or roof racks for cargo if you are interested.

Currently, (March 2023), we do not have any hitch that will work for the 2019 Hyundai Elantra Sedan. We only have them for the Hatchback Elantras. We can offer, trunk mounted bike racks or roof racks for cargo, but unfortunately, no hitch.

In most cases Loctite is not required when installing a trailer hitch, but it would not be a bad idea. I suggest using the Loctite Blue Stick Threadlocker, #LT37643, which will provide a secure grip and protect against water and grime.

Most of the 8-259 Dexter hubs use L44649 inner and outer bearings. For that you would need bearing kit #BK1-150. The seal included with this kit has an inner diameter of 1.50 inches. I have linked a video showing an example installation.

Your Dexter 8-259 #8-259-5UC1 will use the Bearing Kit #BK1-150 for each hub. I recommend filling the bearings with the Grease #L11390 when you install them.
