Flat Towing Base Plates for 2019 Chevy Colorado Trail Boss

You mentioned in another article about the base plate on a 2019 Chevy Colorado z71 4x4 would work if you didn’t have the trail boss. What if you have the trail boss? Apparently different base plate and do they make it for that? Thank you.

The only compatible flat towing base plate we have that has been confirmed to fit on the 2019 Chevy Colorado z71 4WD Trail Boss model is the Blue Ox Base Plate w/ Removable Arms # BX1721 .
If you're in need of a complete flat towing setup, there are a few more parts you'll need: tow bar, safety cables, lights/wiring, supplemental braking and high/low adapter. I've provided a few basic recommendations on which will work best for you below.
Tow Bar: Blue Ox Avail # BX7420 (comes with safety cables)
Lighting: Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 4-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267 and required battery disconnect kit # RM-766
Supplemental Braking: (This is required in most states) Roadmaster Even Brake # RM-9400 (portable and able to be transferred between vehicles)- additional parts required: Roadmaster Stop Light Switch # RM-751472 and 12 V outlet kit # RM-9332
