Trailer Hitch Receiver Ground Clearance for 2019 Toyota RAV4

Question:

I see there are a couple trailer hitches for my 2019 Toyota RAV4, a draw-tite and curt. I was wondering if you knew if either of them offered better ground clearance the other?

When we test fit the etrailer Hitch Receiver # e23ZR and Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13416 on a 2019 Toyota RAV4, we found that they installed the same, which means they had the same ground clearance of 12 inches from the top of the receiver to the ground. They also had the same 5 inches of clearance from the receiver hitch pin hole to the edge of the bumper.

While there isn't much separating these two hitches for your '19 RAV4, if it were my vehicle I would put the etrailer on it. It has a higher towing and tongue weight capacity than the Curt (4,500 lbs to 4,000 lbs and 675 lbs to 600 lbs) as well as etrailers reputation for quality. I have added links to videos of both hitches being installed on a 2019 Toyota RAV4 for you to take a look at.

Additionally, if you are looking to tow and need to power your trailer's lights the most reliable harness for your '19 RAV4 is the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56434. I have added a link to a video install of this harness on a 2019 Toyota RAV4 for you to check out as well.
