Best 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Setup for 2019 Ford F-350 Super Duty with Factory Tow Prep Package

Question:

I have the prep package with the pucks on my 2019 ford f-350 and want to be able to utilize a great 5th wheel hitch. Is there one that I should be looking at over all the others? If so, can you tell me why?

The best fifth wheel hitch for your 2019 Ford F-350 Super Duty is easily the B&W Companion because of its immense jaws and cushioned bushings which combine to give you the most comfortable and quiet towing experience possible. You did not say if you had a short bed or long bed so here are the options for your 2019 F-350 with the pucks:

- B&W Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch with Slider for Ford Towing Prep Package (20,000 lbs) # BWRVK3370
- B&W Companion 5th Wheel Hitch for Ford Super Duty Prep Package # BWRVK3300 (20,000 lbs) or # BWRVK3305 (25,000 lbs)

The jaws on the Companion are a full 1 inch thick, and there is no space between the jaws when they are closed, so they are very tightly wrapped around the king pin which minimizes the chucking, jarring and noise when towing, resulting in a smoother, more comfortable ride. If you take a look at the accompanying photo you can see the full breadth of these jaws and why they act like an adhesive to your king pin. The bushings on the Companion are another important factor; they are made of polyurethane which act as cushions that absorb noise and rattle so you can get to your destination in comfort.

The B&W Companion is widely regarded as the highest-quality fifth wheel hitch in the industry; as evidence of that you can see that this hitch has been reviewed some 700 times by our customers (as of this writing), and they have given it a nearly unanimous 5-star rating. Getting that many people to agree on anything nowadays is impressive, which speaks volumes about how good the Companion really is.
