Although "best" can be a relative term, we have 2 sliding 5th wheel hitches that rise to the top. Both of these fit directly to the OEM pucks in your 2019 Ford F-250 so that when/if you remove them you will have a clean truck bed.
The most popular 5th wheel hitch for your F-250 is the B&W Companion # BWRVK3370. This is considered by most to be the best 5th wheel hitch out there due to the solid construction, 1" thick dual locking jaws, fully-articulating head that can be easily removed, and 3 different height settings. The limited lifetime warranty just shows how much confidence B&W has in the 5th wheel hitch.
Right under the Companion, in popularity, is the Demco Hijacker. This comes in an 18K version # DM8550024 as well as a 21K version # DM8550038 and has some similar qualities to the Companion. These include a rotating hitch head that is easily removed, 3 different height settings, and the ability to slide. The differences are that the sliding action is automatic so that you never have to leave the comfort of your cab, the single wraparound jaw with a 3/4" thick bar for additional security. This 5th wheel hitch comes with a 5-year limited warranty.
One other difference to note is that the Hijacker weighs about 60 lbs more than the Companion (which has a shipping weight of about 260 lbs). These are the best options for your F-250 so it just boils down to whether you would like a lighter hitch that manually slides or a heavier hitch that automatically slides. If you plan on leaving the 5th wheel hitch ni your truck bed the majority of the time then I would definitely go with the Hijacker.
