Recommended Trailer Wiring Harness for 2019 Mazda CX-5

I have a 2019 Mazda CX5. Do I want the Curt or the Tekonsha wiring harness?

Curt and Tekonsha both offer wiring harnesses for your CX-5. The Tekonsha model is # 118746 and the Curt is # C56377.
Both install in the same manner, by plugging inline between the vehicle's taillight assemblies and the wiring harness that feeds them. No cutting or splicing required.
Because the Tekonsha # 118746 has a higher amperage rating 5 amps/each stop/turn circuit and 7 amps/each taillight circuit as opposed to 3 amp/6 amps for the Curt model, I'd recommend the Tekonsha. Aside from that, over the years we've found the Tekonsha electronics to be a bit more reliable in the long run that the offerings from Curt.
