Can Gen-Y Aluminum Loading Ramps # 325-GH-R96 Be Used to Span Dip for Backing Up Camper
Question:
I am needing a set of ramps to span a dip in front of my building. I will be backing a 25’ camper in and now the skid plates bottom out. Would these types of ramps work laying flat across the ? I have a 2008 Chevy Silverado 2500 that would also need to be supported. The 2 vehicles will not be on the ramps at the same time. Do you think I would need an arched set rather than flat.

As long as they provide the needed length and track width, the Gen-Y Hitch Aluminum Loading Ramp Set # 325-GH-R96 that you referenced will work great for your application. They provide plenty of strength (10,000 pound capacity for the pair - which represents the highest rated set we have available) and their angled base will allow you to maintain an ideal loading angle for the camper and your Silverado.
A flat set like this will work well to avoid dragging the skid plates on the trailer as you traverse over that dip.
