Expert Reply:

If you are having issues with leaf springs breaking then you first need to verify the weight capacity of the leaf springs which should be based on the axle capacity. If the leaf springs are rated appropriately then you will need to make sure the trailer is not overloaded. If you like, you may be able to use a higher rated leaf spring to fix your issue but this would also equate to a slight harsher ride therefore it is important to make sure you have the correct rating and are not overloading the trailer.

Please note, the leaf springs will need to be measured while unloaded. Furthermore, the leaf springs will stretch over time as they wear so the new leaf springs will likely be shorter than the existing. I recommend the 3-Leaf Double-Eye Spring part # e59SR based on this.
