Is the Tow Ready Replacement Trailer Wiring Harness # 118253 Compatible with 2007 Honda Pilot

To install a 7-way trailer connector on your 2007 Pilot, you will need to start with a 4-pole, # 118336. You would then use an adapter like part # 37185, which would plug into the 4-pole. Once the adapter is plugged in, and the white ground lead is attached to the vehicle frame, all lighting functions are taken care of.
If your trailer has electric brakes, you would need to install a brake controller using our Brake Controller Install Kit, # ETBC7. The kit includes the adapter I mentioned above, plus everything else necessary to install a brake controller, with the exception of the controller itself. I can highly recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P2, part # 90885, which is our most popular and easiest to use controller.
The # 118253 connector you referenced is only compatible with the 2009-2011 Pilot, and would not work on your 2007 model.
I have linked yo to some install instructions, as well as an install video showing the install kit being used on a Honda Odyssey. Although the install is on a different vehicle, the procedure for your Pilot would be identical.
