Warranty Length and Improvements that Lippert Center Point System Offers to Trailer Installed On

Question:

So are individual air Bags installed between the top of the axle and the frame a better solution for balancing correcting the load difference from side to side? Would that be better than the lippert Air Bay Equalizer?

The Lippert Components Center Point by Trailair Air-Ride Suspension Upgrade # LC1565391 that you bought has a 90 day warranty. This system has only one inflation point which equalizes the pressure between both sides of the trailer so it does not have a way to have more pressure in one side than the other. This system is designed to greatly improve the suspension performance and ride quality of the trailer you install it on but does not necessarily provide additional support although it does help somewhat. Since you are wanting something to help the suspension last a long time this is the correct solution for that as it reduces chucking to the point parts don't wear out as quickly.

Couldn’t I separate the fill lines on the system and apply more pressure to the heavy side?

The Center Point should always have equalized pressure in both bags. It's designed to smooth out the ride quality by cushioning the equalizer connection between the leaf springs but adding pressure to the system does not actually increase the height of the trailer. So if you increased the pressure of one side but not the other you'd have suspension that would be less cushioned on one side but better supported necessarily. This isn't an ideal solution for distributing an uneven load or for correcting a trailer that leans more to one side than the other.

While we do have suspension enhancement kits that are designed for adding support to trailer suspension like the SuperSpring kit part # TSS-106-40 for underslung axles or part # TSS-107-40 for overslung axles we don't have an air bag style. These kits would give you additional support but it would be even support. Most likely it would be enough to totally level the trailer too. If support is what you really want a solution like this would be your best option over the Center Point. I was not able to find any info on a Lippert Air Bay Equalizer though.
