Installing A B&W Companion Hitch In Bed With 1/2 Soft Impact Removable Drop Mat
Question:
I have the BandW turnover goose-neck ball hitch installed and want to add the Companion 5th wheel hitch with the goose-neck hitch. Now, I have added a 1/2 soft impact removable mat over my spray in bed-liner. Will this fit? Would their be an issue?

Yes this is a valid concern. In the instructions for the Companion Hitch # BWRVK3500, B&W does say that if the truck bed has a removable bed liner or mat, it should be removed or cut to allow the base of the hitch to have direct contact with the bed.
