Question:

Will this adapter work with the Thule EasyFold XT 2? Thanks!

I do have an option for you but the Yakima BackSwing Swing Away Hitch Extender part # y02483 is only recommended for use with a bike rack that has a one piece 2" shank. Therefore, it would not be recommended to use the Thule EasyFold XT 2 E-Bike Platform Rack part # TH903202 as it has a 1-1/4" to 2" shank adapter though it would physically fit.

It sounds like you have some pretty heavy e-bikes so I recommend either taking a look at the Swagman E-Spec 2-Electric Bike Platform Rack part # S94FR or the Thule T2 Pro XTR 2 Bike Platform Rack part # TH83JV. These will both work with e-bikes and they have a one piece 2" shank so they will work with the BackSwing as well. If your bike has fenders you will want to go with the Swagman E-Spec but if not you have a choice between the Thule T2 Pro XTR and the Swagman E-Spec.

There are no ramps for either of the above options unfortunately. If you need a ramp then you will have to forgo the BackSwing and just use the Thule EasyFold.

The Swing-Away # TH9037 would physically work with your Thule EasyFold XT2 # TH903202, it's simply not recommended by the manufacturer. The potential issue is that the EasyFold uses a separate adapter on the shank to make it compatible with 2" receivers. Thule says the Swing-Away should only be used on racks that have a dedicated 2" shank (without the use of an adapter). The adapter piece could just lead to some instability on the road and possibly damage down the line.
