Smallest Diameter Tire for 8 Inch Rim

Question:

Hello, I am looking for the smallest diameter tire available for an 8” diameter rim. It needs to support approx 400 lbs. It is for an electric trailer mover dolly, so speed is if zero concern 20-30 feet per minute. I currently have 4.80x4 tires, about 16.2” diameter. I believe my rims are 4 1/2 wide 4 bolt. Thanks for your time.

The smallest diameter tire that fits an 8" rim is the size you have, 4.80/4.00-8, such as the Kenda Loadstar K371 Bias Trailer Tire # AM10002 and # AM10004, which are 16.1" when inflated. These tires are a fit for 8" x 3-3/4" rims such as the Steel Trailer Wheel # AM20008 (Galvanized) or # AM20006 (White).

I have added links to video reviews of all of the aforementioned parts for you to check out.
