Do I Need Thule Fit Kit to Mount Thule Roof Rack on 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Do you have to buy a separate mounting kit to install these bars? I have a 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee with factory flush rails. Your video shows the padded fit kitinch but Im curious it that is required or if the bars come ready to install out of the box.

Yes. Assuming that you have the chrome/black roof rails you need the Thule Podium Mounting Kit # THKIT3142 in addition to the AeroBlade Edge Roof Rack # TH7602-TH7602 to mount the Podium mounts that come with the Aero Bar Roof Rack to your 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
If you have the all black roof rails that do not have a channel in them, you won't be able to use the Thule Roof Rack system. I've attached a picture for you to reference when determining which rails you have on your 17 Grand Cherokee.
If you have the all black roof rails without channels, I recommend going with the Yakima Roof Rack; the parts you'll need for this setup are # Y00426 , Y28TR and Y06121 . These parts are going to cover the Jetstream Crossbars, Baseline Towers and BaseClip Fit Kit for your 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
