Can Stallion Stabilizer Jacks Be Used to Lift Trailer to Change Tire
Question:
On a small enclosed cargo trailer weighing 640lbs can I install 4 stabilizing jacks on each corner and then if needed use them to raise the trailer to change the tire.

Mounting four of the Stallion Stabilizer Jacks # 288-01892-2 on each corner of your enclosed trailer will do a great job of stabilizing the unit so it doesn't rock back and forth as you load/unload cargo or climb in and out of it, however these are not designed to actually lift a portion of the trailer. Because of this I cannot recommend using these to raise even a lighter trailer like yours for the purpose of changing a tire.
A much better option for this is a simple bottle jack like the Powerbuilt # ALL647501, which features a lift range of 8-1/4 inches to 16-5/16 inches. It has a robust weight capacity of 24,000 pounds and is small enough to easily store inside the trailer until it's needed.
