Replacing a B78-14 Trailer Tire With 175/80-13 Trailer Tire  

Question:

My current wheels for the trailer have 4 bolt, 4.5 inch centres. I want to use a 175/80-13 to replace a B78-14

I would be willing to bet you have the standard 4 on 4" bolt pattern but you can check this using the attached photo/article. If it turns out you do have a 4 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern then I would not have any options for you save for replacing the hub but if you have the standard 4 on 4" bolt pattern then you can use the Loadstar ST175/80D13 Bias Trailer Tire with 13" White Wheel part # AM3S120 which has an 81 mph speed rating and 1,360 lb weight capacity. The ST175/80D13 tire is 24.02" diameter x 6.97" wide and the old B78-14 tire is 24.7" diameter x 6.65" so they will be very similar.
