Can you Use Bearing Buddy with Trailer Wheel Center Cap
Question:
I would like to use the center hub cover #319EZ on my trailer which has bearing buddies. Do you keep the bearing buddy bra on underneath the center hub cover or can you leave it off? If the bra is to stay on, how would you remove it to grease the bearings without removing the entire wheel and center hub cover taking off the cap does not allow enough room to pull the bra off? Thank you.

I first recommend taking a quick measurement on your trailer to ensure that the Trailer Wheel Center Cap # 319EZ will fit over your existing Bearing Buddies. The inner depth of the center cap is 3-1/8 inches to the tabs on the removable plug on the end of the cap. You will want to measure the length of the trailer's spindle that sticks through the center hole of your wheel, from the face of the wheel to the end of the Bearing Buddy cap. If it measures less than 3-1/8 inches, then you can be sure that the cap will physically fit over the Bearing Buddy.
However, with this in mind, I don't recommend using a center cap over your Bearing Buddies, as this will essentially counteract the convenience of the Bearing Buddy system. As you mentioned in your question, with a wheel cap installed, you will need to remove the rim in order to grease the hub. I do not recommend removing the Bearing Buddy Bras, as they are designed to keep excess grease off the tires and wheels.
