There are many variables that determine the towing capacity for any particular vehicle; engine size, gear ratio, drive type etc. If you look on page 9-91 of your owner's manual you will see the listed towing capacity based on these variables. I cannot recommend you exceed the towing capacity of your vehicle but I would think you will be alright only moving the trailer a few short blocks.
In order to tow a 5th wheel trailer with your 2011 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, I recommend the Curt A16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch part # C16120 with the Curt Custom Fifth Wheel Installation Kit for Chevy/GMC part # C16400-204 as this is a great cost effective starter kit that performs really well and does not require any drilling into the truck frame.
