Which Brackets are Needed to Mount a 5-Way Flat Trailer Connector on a Vehicle

Hello I just purchased the Flat 5 wiring harness bracket without the universal No drill # 18136 part. Do I need this part ? will it work with the flat 5 bracket ? or can I just drill into the hitch and mount the bracket directly to the tow bar ?

It looks like you have purchased the mounting bracket for a 5-Way flat, # tr20046, when you got the wiring harness. The no-drill brackets, # C57202 or # 18140, will attach to the bracket that you recently purchased. You will not need any additional brackets. I have included a link to a video that, in part, shows the tr20046 bracket being installed.

In order to determine the torque rating for the lug nuts on your trailer you will need to know check out the chart I attached that shows all of the torque specs for all the trailer lugs available based on stud size, wheel material and wheel size.
