How To Carry E-Bike Rack and Tow Pop Up Camper with 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee
Question:
Hi! We have a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee and with this vehicle, we have towed separately a 2002 Coleman Cheyenne pop up camper and our two fat tire electric bikes with the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE2 2 Electric Fat Bike Rack - 2inch Hitches - Frame Mount Item # HR1455Z-E, but we are wanting to be able to tow both of the bikes and the pop up camper at the same time. How do we go about this? I saw that the Curt Multipurpose Ball Mount with 2inch Receiver for Bike Racks and Cargo Carriers - 7,500 lbs Item # D210 was mentioned in a similar question, however I am only worried because our bikes are much heavier than normal bikes around 70 lbs each. According to what I have read, our pop ups tongue rating is 350 lbs. Thank you for your help!

The best solution will be a front hitch to allow you to carry your current bike rack and heavier bikes with your Hollywood Racks part # HR1455Z-E as there isn't any type of adapter that's going to have the capacity needed at the rear of your vehicle or pop up.
So for that you'd want the Curt front hitch part # C31033 installed on your 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee and you'd be able to carry the bikes out front and the trailer out back!
