Does the Curt Front Mount Hitch Require Removal of the Front Plate on a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Just wondering if I have to add a license plate bracket to my order. It looks like the hitch will sit flush with the bottom of the bumper which will require removal of the stock license plate holder. Thanks!

You will not need to relocate the license plate holder on the front of your 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Check out the picture I attached that shows this hitch installed on a similar vehicle as yours to show that the license plate bracket will not need to be moved.

The correct Custom Mounting Bracket Kit for SnowBear Hydraulic and Winter Wolf Snowplows for a 2007 Ford F-150 is part #SB397-105. If the plow uses the two point mounting then the bracket kit will be a fit.

There is not a bracket kit that fits a Laredo model. You will need to use the Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - 2" #C31048 and then use either 82x19 inch snowplow #SB324-080 or #SB324-081 for 84x22 inch snowplow.

The Curt front hitch part #C31033 is a confirmed fit and does not require specialized tools to install. If you have most basic hand tools you'd be set. I attached a picture that I took from the install instructions that shows the tools required.
