Tools Needed to install Curt Hitch # C31033 on 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee AWD Front Hitch
Question:
I am very interested in this hitch. I will use it to put my boat in/out of the ramp. Can I install it myself without special tools? Please let me know at your earliest possible convenience. Thanks

The Curt front hitch part # C31033 is a confirmed fit and does not require specialized tools to install. If you have most basic hand tools you'd be set. I attached a picture that I took from the install instructions that shows the tools required.

The "Die Grinder" is not what I would consider "basic handtool". I see from the installation instructions that this is used to enlarge a hole. Could this be done with a larger drill bit?
