Speaker 1: Today, we're gonna take a look at the bolt-on pentile hook with the mounting kit and a 40,000 pound weight capacity. This pentile hook will let you hook up your trailer to your tow vehicle. Provides an attachment point for your lunette ring coupler. Has a high weight capacity, which is ideal for industrial agriculture or construction applications. Has a nice spring latch right here that makes it easy to raise and lower the jaw. In other words, if you pop the tethered safety pin right here and remove it, and just pull up on it, you can see it's spring-loaded.
Pops right open. It is a bolt-on installation. You can see the mounting hardware is all included. It's a Ford steel construction. It's strong, it's durable.
Has a nice black powder coat finish, resistant to rust and corrosion.As I mentioned, once you close it, just take your tethered safety pin here, slide it through the holes just like that, and then clip it and you're all locked, ready to go. This part is made in the USA. Again, the gross towing weight capacity is 40,000 pounds. Tongue weight capacity is 8,000 pounds. This is designed to fit lunette ring couplers with a diameter of two inches to three inches.
Two dimensions on this I wanna give you, the mounting hole dimensions right here on the back, the diameter of the actual hole itself is right at five-eighths inches. The distance apart center to center if you go horizontally is gonna be right at three and three-eighths inches. If you go vertically, it's gonna be right at one and three-quarter inches. That should do it for the review on the bolt-on pentile hook with the mounting kit and a 40,000 pound weight capacity.

Three days after I ordered the hitches they showed up at my door. We bought a new F-350 and needed some new hitch assemblies for the 3" receiver. Everything was well packaged and so well made we figure these hitches will last a lifetime and then some. The height adjustable Pintle Hitch is stronger than the truck and and the stout B&W Tow & Stow three ball is an excellent design. Very nice quality hitch. I wish it came with a bolt kit (grade 8) it would be a cheap upgrade and would be much more convenient for the customer even if the hitch cost a few bucks more.

The 6-Short Ton pintle hitch had the correct bolt pattern and hole size for 1/2 inch bolt plus was exactly what I required.
However, the 1/2 inch - Grade 8 washers (not the extra strong) had to be filed to sit properly in the recess areas for the washer / bolt combination. Note: The Grade 8 washer for a 3/8 inch fit just right.

Ordered two of these to put on our class 8 winch trucks to tow conveyor trailers. Seem to be of very good quality and well constructed. We have only towed the trailer twice so can't really tell you how well they stand up to the task.
