We have the perfect bike rack fro your Giant LaFree+1 that is heavy, has fenders, and has a deep step through frame with the Thule Easy Fold XT part # TH903202. This rack was designed for heavier e-bikes that commonly have the step through frame and fenders so it will work great with yours. I attached a picture that shows a similar bike setup as yours secured to it. What's also really nice about this bike rack is that is has a ramp that stores in the rack too which makes loading and unloading the bikes easier!
This rack also fits 2 inch and 1-1/4 inch hitch sizes so it will fit either hitch size you'd have installed on your 2018 Subaru Crosstrek. If you are in need of a hitch too the Curt part # C13382 is a really great and easy option as well. It also only has the hitch opening that hangs below the rear bumper so it looks nicer as well overall.
I attached a review video for this rack for you to check out as well.

I have a Ford Escape with 2 Hitch receiver. I just bought 2 Giant LaFree+1 bikes for my wife and me. Due to the bikes fenders and rear rack battery holder it appears the only bike rack that will work is the Thule EZ Fold XT 2E. My daughter has a regular Ladies Trek 7000. So my question is....can I convert the Thule EZ Fold to carry 3 bikes? Any suggestions? Please advise
