New Install Wiring Harness for Tekonsha Brake Controller in 2012 Nissan Frontier
Question:
I have a 2012 Nissan Frontier . I am planning to install a Tekonsha brake controller from my prior truck. Unfortunately, the controller was hard wired in my prior truck, and the plug on the pigtail removed. I know I can buy the Tekonsha 3050-s and hardwire it again, but would prefer to buy the 3050-p if I could also replace the missing pigtail plug. Is this a possibility? Thanks.

Depends on what brake controller you have, but if you look at the back of your brake controller and you see what looks like an L-shaped connector where the wires all plug into which then plugs into the back of the connector you can simply replace that with the # 3050-P. Otherwise you'd have to use the # 3050-S to hardwire the controller to a connector compatible with your 2012 Nissan Frontier.
