Red Vs Blue Roadmaster Reflex Steering Stabilizer For a 2008 Ford E-350

Question:

Hello, I previously purchased a Roadmaster steering stabilizer for my 2008 Ford #50 van w/ single wheels. The shock was fine but the mounts were terrible and the piston rod was bent, ruining the shock. I would like to get another unit but I have question. There are two types in the pictures I see on your sight. The Red unit that is the unit I do not want and the blue unit that looks as if there are set screws in the collar that holds the end of the spring. One problem I had was that I would adjust the spring to center and then it would simply turn and move out of adjustment. I had to install a large muffler clamp to keep it in place. Can you give me a part number for a complete installation kit with frame mounting brackets that will insure that I get the blue piston/spring and not the red unit? Thanks,

The correct Roadmaster Reflex Steering Stabilizer with Mounting Brackets for your 2008 Ford E-350 is part # RM-RBK24-RSSC if you have the V10 engine or part # RM-RBK2-RSSC if you have the V8 engine. The only difference between the red and blue model is the color of powder coat used. They both mount the same way using the vehicle specific brackets.

The blue powder coat is actually the older model which is no longer available. If you are having issues with the bracket sliding back and forth then you will just need to add washers to get a tighter fit as most likely there were not enough threads on the u-bolt to hold tightly.
