Is There an Expected Battery Life for a Breakaway Kit

There are actually a lot of factors that play into the length of life on a battery like part # HM20008 that it's basically impossible to give a specific amount of days or years that a battery is expected to function at 100%.

For example, if your trailer sits for long periods of time (like you mentioned) then it is best to place a charger like part # CTEK56353 if you are sotring it near AC power or the part # PTW2997 if it will be sotred outside to maintain the life of the battery. If you live in very hot or very cold climates that can affect battery life as well.

To help prolong the life of your battery it is best to keep it on a charger for long storage (like mentioned above) and limited its exposure to the elements by keeping it in a battery box during use.
