A-Frame Electric Jack For TowLite 22 ft. Camper For Connecting Weight Distribution Sway Bars

Question:

I have a 1998 TowLite 22 ft. camper that needs some upgrades. It weighs 3800 lbs and has dual axles. In looking for an electric trailer jack the Atwood model AT81068 looks like it may be a good option. In researching - it seems that Atwood was acquired by Dometic recently and no longer lists trailer jacks on their web site. Additionally in the QandA for the review - a deluxe model from Atwood was mentioned that is also no longer listed. Is there any concern about ongoing service on Atwood products? Would you have any other recommendation for a trailer jack for our trailer. I do need to lift the connected trailer to help connect the sway bars. I also like the white top. Thanks for your help!

I can help you find a new electric trailer jack for the 1998 TowLite 22 ft. camper. Atwood was recently acquired by Dometic. We currently do not carry the Atwood 80931 Deluxe Power Jack but the etrailer.com electric jack design by RAM part # EJ-3520-WBX is a great option for you. I looked up the TowLite and it looks like a standard A-Frame trailer so the jack would fit perfectly in front of the propane tanks. The white housing protects the motor from the elements and it also has a LED light to make hooking the trailer up at night easier. It can handle the tongue weight of the truck and trailer coupled together when you connect the sway bars.
