Today we're going to be taking a look at part number AUTF152S; This is the automotive gold Ford F-150 Trailer Hitch Cover for two-inch hitches. This is an officially licensed Ford F-150 hitch cover. It is designed to slide into your trailer hitch. And it's gonna really do a good job of keeping out dirt and grime, which is going to prevent corrosion to the hitch, or it's going to assist in preventing corrosion to the hitch. And it's going to add a clean, finished look to your hitch. We're gonna have the riveted face plate, which gives your vehicle a nice rugged, industrial look. And that front face is actually going to have three layers. So you're gonna have a brushed stainless steel on the front and back, so you won't have to worry about rust or corrosion. And in the center area, you're going to have a durable black plastic middle layer.
Here on the front we're going to have laser-etched lettering and logo. That's going to give the hitch cover a lot of detail, makes it really stand out, has a lot of style. And again, we're gonna have the stainless steel construction all the way around, so it's going to do a good job at resisting rust and corrosion and lasting a long time. This is a one-piece riveted construction, no assembly is required. This portion right here slides into the receiver tip of your hitch. Push it in until you get one of the three pinholes to line up with the pinholes in your hitch, and then secure with a hitch pin and clip or hitch pin and lock.
Now those items are sold separately, so if you need one, you can one here on our website. This will accept your standard 5/8th inch diameter pin. But you can see here that it's going to offer three pinhole locations, so that way you can choose whatever one works best for your particular application for your hitch. The product is made right in the USA. It is designed for two-inch by two-inch hitches. We're going to take a measurement of the face plate. That's going to give us a width measurement of five and one quarter. A height measurement of right at three inches.
And then the distance that we have from the back of the face plate to the center of each pinhole, measuring to the closest one, one and five-eights; to the center one, two and one-eighth; and then to the rear one, two and five-eighths. And we're going to cover this with a lifetime warranty. That's gonna do it for today's look at part number AUTF152S.

Well made really stands out, stainless mount, plastic emblem sturdy, fits 1 1/4" hitch
One wonders why all covers made for 1 1/4" with and adapter for 2" so there would be no need for 2 sizes. I attached it to my E Trailer hitch on my Corvette. Yes a tow hitch on a Corvette for bike rack.

This is the second time I have purchased a trailer hitch from this company. I only had to replace this product because I was rear ended a few weeks ago by another driver. The tow bar took all the damage and while it had to be replaced, it protected the back of my jeep from further impact.

I had a cheap rubber cover but it either blew off in the wash or got stolen. With a locking pin this one should stay put. Makes a nice little enhancement to my vehicle and shows pride in having served our country. Glad it arrived in time for display this "Veterans Day".
