Which way should I run the ribs on a horse trailer ramp, horizontally for traction or vertical to let the water run off?

The Ribbed Rubber Trailer Mat part # 4872SM can really be installed an any orientation but naturally vertically is best for water run off. The ribbed mat is great for traction vertically or horizontally so it is really up to you which way to install it. We did have a customer put the product in his horse trailer veritcally and left us a nice review.

In order to determine the torque rating for the lug nuts on your trailer you will need to know check out the chart I attached that shows all of the torque specs for all the trailer lugs available based on stud size, wheel material and wheel size.
