How To Help Further Stabilize the Inno Tire Hold 1 Bike Platform Rack During Transport

Inno Tire Hold 1 Bike Platform Rack - 1-1/4inch and 2inch Hitches - Tilting Item # INH110. I really like this hitch bike rack and want to purchase it for my 2005 Subaru Impreza with a 1-1/4inch hitch. But after watching the video on this product, it does show that this rack for the 1-1/4inch will sway slightly side to side. Although the instructor for the video stated it should not be a problem, that still doesnt give me a level of comfort traveling at high speed on the highway with my bike swaying side to side. The manufacturer should correct this problem, the rack should stay tight and secured to the hitch at all time. Is there anything that you could suggest that I could do to make the rack fit more securely ? Thanks

Yes, in order to make the Inno Tire Hold 1 Bike Platform Rack part # INH110 more secure during transport with your 2005 Subaru Impreza you have two options. The first option is an anti rattle device, TheRoadmaster Quiet Hitch for 1-1/4" Trailer Hitches part # RM-061-125 which clamps around the bike rack shank thereby reducing movement. The other option you have is a support strap, the Curt Cam Buckle Stabilizing Strap for Hitch-Mounted Accessories part # 18050 which will most likely reduce movement the most but this also requires a bit more setup each time. If you like, you can use both of these options but I think it worth noting that all bike racks are going to have some movement.
