What Does the Brake Controller Plug on a 2014 Toyota Tacoma Look Like
Question:
The male end that i located taped to the wire harness does not match up with female connector on 90885 podigy P2. Is this the right controller? I have a 2014 tacoma.

Although I am not sure what the connector you have located is used for I can confirm that this is not the brake controller adapter port. The correct brake controller adapter port which I have attached a photo of for you will be located under the driver dash, up near the emergency brake pedal. If you are having trouble finding this adapter port then I have attached an install video for you. The correct harness you need for the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Trailer Brake Controller part # 90885 is the Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter for Electric Brake Controllers part # 3040-P.
Please note that if your Tacoma did not come with a factory trailer connector then you likely do not have this brake controller adapter port and you will need to hardwire the controller for scratch.
