Replacing Trailer Hubs with 1.25", 1.75" Bearings and 2.3" Seal Measurements on Spindle

Question:

Trying to install new hubs on these axles. Two axles one with idlers and one with drums. Measurements of the clean surfaces working from the inside of the axle to the outside are. Surface one: 1.75” Diameter 1 1/16” to start of taper. Surface two 1.25” Diameter 2” Long to start of taper before thread. Rusty surface where the old seal used to sit 2.3” Diameter 2 11/16” up to the flange location. Would just like some direction on the hubs to get so I don’t have to mess around too much. Thank you!

Thank you for the measurements! From the info you gave me it sounds like you have axles rated somewhere between 5,200 lbs - 7,000 lbs. For this we have the following:

Idler hub with 6 on 5-1/2" bolt pattern - # 8-213-5UC1-EZ
Idler hub with 8 on 6-1/2" bolt pattern - # 42865-KIT
Hub and Drum with 6 on 5-1/2" bolt pattern - # 8-201-9UC3-EZ

You will need to use grease seals # RG06-070 for these

Hub and Drum with 8 on 6-1/2" bolt pattern - # 42866UC3-EZ

All of these kits have bearings that match your description and then the seals have a 2-1/4" (2.25") inner diameter. If you have rust where the seal rides then that would explain the small difference and you will want to clean that off to ensure that your seals don't leak.
